This tripod is the perfect accessory for the Flip Ultra Video Camcorder. Only wish I had ordered before. Is an incredible value and greatly expands as you can use the camera. In this video, which is less than two minutes, I will show you the tripod and how you can attach to various elements. Then I will see him work in action how to use a tripod for the first time. It will especially appeal to novice vloggers (like myself) because it is so very easy to use!

They are much less money and it is pretty much the same thing!:

The only difference really is the Vanguard model does not come with the feet of a different color and doesn't say "Flip".
Or you could get the Gorilla Pod:

that is a bit more versatile because you can bind it to a pole or Board Chair, etc..
A mini tripod really makes it easier to do video, because you can place almost anywhere but still get your Flip Ultra. It also provides greater stability for better to avoid tipping.

Is a rugged metal tripod that weighs about 12 ounces. Interchangeable rubber tips are a cool idea, but not really needed unless there is a total "mix n ' match ' freak. The legs are really flexible, meaning that you can mount this on any uneven surface. It would have been nice if they included a clip for vertical surfaces, but hey, for the price, is theft.
